Event info duplicating itself

Hi,

I installed this plugin yesterday (with the intention to upgrade to the pro version), however, I’m having difficulties right off the bat.

For some reason, the main body of the event (i.e. the text description) keeps repeating itself at the top of the page in both the ‘list of events’ page and the ‘detailed single events’ page.

Whenever I create a new event, it seems to replace the info being duplicated at the top of the ‘list of event’s page with the new event. I’m not sure if that matters (as I don’t want anything duplicating) but thought I’d throw it in in case it helps with any troubleshooting.

Website info: 5.2.4 (holding off upgrading to 5.3 for the time being as doing so causes my site to WSOD).
Plugin version: 4.9.12
