I suppose it’s because I’m not using all the available fields, but the Event Details does nothing for me. One entry from my church website is as follows:

Category: Recurring Events Ladies Bible Study
    10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Enjoy good fellowship and in-depth Bible study.
iCal • Send Ladies Bible Study to Google Calendar
    10:00 am Ladies Bible Study
Edit This Date • Edit All • Delete This Date • Delete All

Presumably the last line is there because I’m logged in, and that’s OK. The iCal line could be good for a visitor who uses Google Calendar. Everything else is what is seen in the previous popup that comes when you click an item in the calendar.

The biggest nuisance is there is no X to close the Event Details, even though there are X‘s in the previous popup.

I would like to eliminate the Event Details link from the first popup, but it looks that would require editing the plugin code.

You can use a custom template to show only the information you want at My Calendar > Template Editor.

Or you can wait for 2.4.4, which I just released. It adds the option to turn off the ‘More’ link from Settings > Output.

Oops! Too late. I just edited the template to give me this example:

    Ladies Bible Study

    10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Enjoy good fellowship and in-depth Bible study.

Thanks for the good support. I wish I were making money on this so I could share some of it with you. But I’m hosting and developing this website as a freebie for my church.
