Evaluating plugin for membership Integration?

Has anyone used this successfully in conjunction with a membership management plugin? Or, does anyone have suggestions for alternative ways of handling the following scenario:

Nonprofit organization holds an annual conference event. Members get discounted pricing, so the event registration form would show & record the appropriate pricing options, based on whether or not the person is a paid member of the organization. Also need to track each registrant’s workshop choices for the event.
