    I recently upgraded all my WP installations to 5.2. I have several websites using WordFence 7.3.2. On one of those sites, I recently started getting the dreaded and absolutely useless error message:

    The site is experiencing technical difficulties.

    After deactivating my plugins and then reactivating one by one (I prioritize plugins I really need first), I started getting the error after re-activating WordFence.

    I find it hard to believe that WordFence alone is the culprit, so it may be a conflict with some combination of plugins, or maybe just WordFence and my theme, which is the latest version of Divi.

    I hate to have to disable WordFence, but until I can figure out what is happening on my active and busy website, I have no choice.

    Please help me fix this!

    Hey @ddmcleod,

    Are these sites on the same server?

    What PHP version are you running? Can you make sure it’s the the most current 7+ version?

    Are you able to check for a theme conflict by quickly switching to the most current WordPress default theme? You can use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin which allows you to disable all plugins and switch to a default theme, but only for your user.
