    Hi there. I’m updating from WordPress 7.0 to WordPress 7.0.2 . The error message after entering my verified credentials is, “Error: Could not connect to server. Please verify settings are correct.” What should I do to overcome this obstacle?

    Based on the error you mentioned, it seems server related.

    I recommend contacting your hosting provider.

    I contacted SiteGround, & they fixed the “site exceeded space limit” wrongful error & unblocked my admin access. Thanks.

    You were spot on. since my admin access on SiteGround was blocked, I couldn’t make the changes you suggested. SiteGround corrected the space limit error message & restored my access.
