What PHP version are you using?
Interesting! I thought you are using unsupported PHP 5.3 and this is causing the problem… If you are running clean wordpress installation, then it must be some system-specific problem. Is it Windows or Linux installation? Would it be a problem if you printed your phpinfo(), saved it as HTML and sent it to me? You can send it to me at danielagw.wp AT outlook DOT com

The phpinfo() seems pretty starndard to me… I don’t understand why it may cause a problem, especially on a clean installation. Have you used previous WP First Letter Avatar versions, or is it your first one? Has the problem always been there?
Can you attach a screenshot of this error? Maybe it happens in a specific context that would guide me towards a solution, because I am clueless.
Does the plugin work normally? Or the message prevents it from working?
P.S. Technically, it’s not an error, it’s a notice 🙂
Okay, I found the root of the problem and it is fixed in 1.2.7 version!
Sorry for the trouble.
