I have this plugin and I keep getting the error

Your ShortPixel image optimisation and CDN quota was used, add more credits to keep fast serving optimised images on your site. If you already have enough credits then you may need to associate your domain to your Shortpixel account.

and when I click the X it goes, but is straight back when I refresh or go to a new page

How do I get rid of it

turned it off. Deleted it and found another plugin that dill do this without the continuous Nag screen..

The persisting nag is very likely due to a (JS-)conflict of the PAND-component AO uses with another plugin you’re using which causes the cross being clicked not being “recorded” by PAND.

If you would ever want to use AO without having to bother with finding the conflicting plugin, you can use this code snippet to disable the notice;
```
add_filter('autoptimize_filter_main_imgopt_plug_notice','no_aosp_notice');
function no_aosp_notice() {
  return '';
}
```
