Error with Plugins & Uploads

    My blog has been running fine for many months. I logged in this morning and it said there was an update for Google Analytics, so I press update but it came back with this error:

    Could not create directory. /home/gogadget/public_html/wp-content/upgrade/google-analytics-for-wordpress.tmp

    Also I just started to add a post and when I click to upload and image I now get this error:

    “_AZL8170.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
    The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/gogadget/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2011/05.

    Any ideas what’s happened? I’m going to contact my hosting provider to see if they can shed any light.
