Sorry – I forgot about a limitation of an older version of PHP that creates this error.
I’ll push out an update shortly.
On a side note, this likely means your server is running PHP 5.4 – which is supported by WordPress and Gravity Forms — but it is several versions old now. If you can, I would talk to your host (or investigate) updating to at least 5.6 or preferably 7.0. Version 7.0 saw great performance benefits (mostly reducing the load on the server). If you have cPanel access to your host it might be as simple as logging in and changing the PHP version from there. Just make sure to do a quick run through of your website after your switch versions to make sure things still work. As an indication, some plugins like Gravity PDF can only support version 5.6 and above now.
