Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/hmiles/public_html/scs/wp-content/plugins/list-field-number-format-for-gravity-forms/list-field-number-format-for-gravity-forms.php on line 393

    Hey,

Good to hear from someone making use of this plugin. 🙂

Sorry – I forgot about a limitation of an older version of PHP that creates this error.

I’ll push out an update shortly.

On a side note, this likely means your server is running PHP 5.4 – which is supported by WordPress and Gravity Forms — but it is several versions old now. If you can, I would talk to your host (or investigate) updating to at least 5.6 or preferably 7.0. Version 7.0 saw great performance benefits (mostly reducing the load on the server). If you have cPanel access to your host it might be as simple as logging in and changing the PHP version from there. Just make sure to do a quick run through of your website after your switch versions to make sure things still work. As an indication, some plugins like Gravity PDF can only support version 5.6 and above now.

Thank you for the quick reply and information. You are correct, we are on version 5.4 for PHP. I will look into updating! Looking forward to using the plugin again.
