    Hi,

First of all, I am from Spain and I have my WordPress in Spanish obviously. I’ve been all day with an error in the “Images” section to use it with ShortPixel.

I came with the intention of telling you everything I have tried and what is my complete configuration. I was even going to make a screenshot of the error, but as I have WordPress in Spanish it was not going to be useful. So I changed the language to English and…. What’s my surprise, it works perfectly! I change the language back to Spanish and…. again error!

Summary: the ‘images’ section doesn’t work when the language is not English (with WordPress in English it works perfectly, but in Spanish it doesn’t work).

This is the fragment of the error when the language is spanish: https://pastebin.com/t5a7fA74

With WordPress in english, the error.log file does not show any error and the service works fine.

Do you have something against spanish people? hehehe, it’s a joke, it’s a joke… I wanted to report this bug so you can fix it.

Thanks for the AO plugin, it’s amazing what it can do!

hey @joseapuvhle; sounds like a problem with a translation string. I checked and I think the problem was it had 50 % màs instead of 50 % más where the % sign made the “m” in “màs” an “unknown format specifier”. I just proposed the change on translate.wordpress.org, but we’ll have to wait for it to get approved (I don’t have rights on the ES translations) .. 🙂

    Mucho gracias para advertir me!

Wow, by the time I read your reply, the change in the translation was already accepted and I can confirm that the problem is totally solved.

Besides being a great plugin, the support and kindness has been fast and efficient. Thank you very much.
