Error with Google Authenticator related to server time setting

    I receive this message from Wordfence when I try to set up 2FA using Google Authenticator: “The code provided does not match the expected value. Please verify that the time on your authenticator device is correct and that this server’s time is correct.” My phone time and the wordpress site times are both set correctly but I live in a different time zone than the wordpress site I am an admin for. Our host is in another time zone. Is this a problem? What can I do? I use Google Authenticator app for other sites not based in my time zone without issues. I absolutely typed in the 6-digit code correctly three different times and received this message. Thank you.
