• Hi there,

I’m new to WordPress and I am doing some work for a client who already has a website running through WordPress – http://www.la-mirage.co.uk/

I purchased a new theme from templatemonster and has a cherry framework.

I tried uploading the cherry framework zip file, but i get the below error message:

The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

I have done some research as to where and how I can increase the size, but i don’t know where to access the php.ini file.

Can someone please give me details instructions as to where i can change the max file size?

    Many thanks,

    Dee

I have done some research as to where and how I can increase the size, but i don’t know where to access the php.ini file.

I can’t give you deta1iled instructions becasue the location of that file depends on your host provider. Why not contact them and show them this topic? If they can change that for you then that may work out best.

Sometimes you will find where to do it in your host’s admin panel.

Best you send a ticket to support to save time.

    Good luck

No need to edit php.ini file you can upload your theme using ftp.
