    I have issue with activating plugin getting this error

    ”

    Please make sure your server is running PHP 5.6+ and you’ll be all set.

    I am also getting the same error.
    I contacted my host company, and they said that they are running their servers on PHP 7.0.
    My exact error is as below.
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /hermes/bosnaweb18a/b2926/nf.rivieraapartmentsca/public_html/riviera/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/contempo-real-estate-custom-posts/includes/ct-real-estate-custom-shortcodes.php on line 1608

    Any idea why?
