Can you tell me when you get the given error? Are you inserting a widget in the wp-admin environment in the WYSISWYG content editor? Which type of widget were you inserting? Do you experience any other problems?

I want to install a widget in the sidebar (not WYSISWYG content editor). The error occurs with all the widgets. I place the widget in the sidebar and then I click on widget instellingen. For example the widget Bol.com Products widget: I place the widget in the sidebar, click on instellingen and then a new screen opens with Product link invoegen. I need to select a product, but here the message is shown: Fout: Bol.com acties konden niet worden geladen. This happens with all the widgets from bol.com.

With installing a widget do you mean you want to add a widget to a sidebar?
I think your Bol.com widgets should work. You should be able to insert them and view them on your website. Is that correct? Adds are an extra and only visible in the admin if they can be loaded. I think your server PHP settings might cause this problem.
Do you know which PHP version your server is using?
