Error when updating taxonomy

    I’m having a weird problem when trying to edit a term in a custom taxonomy.

    I’m getting the error message: “You attempted to edit an item that doesn’t exist. Perhaps it was deleted?”

    But clearly the term wasn’t deleted because I was just editing it. This is happening when I try to edit the “Archive Headline” field for the term. It’s happening with about half the terms in the custom taxonomy. I can edit the other half just fine.

    The taxonomy was created with the CPTUI plugin in case that matters.

    I tried disabling all plugins (except CPTUI) and using the default theme, it’s still happening.

    Any suggestions?

    BTW, I’ve tried deleting and recreating the specific terms that are problematic and it has had no effect. For some of the problem terms, I get the error message as soon as I click the edit link. For others it isn’t until I click update.
