Ive done some searching and can’t seem to find this exact problem, If I missed it and the solution is out there i’d appreciate being pointed to it so that I can apply it.

I have a wordpress blog here:
    http://dfazman.com/

We are attempting to craft a site for a friend here:
    http://dfazman.com/bms/

It’s hosted at Go Daddy (full package).

When I try to upload the wpprado theme zip file I get the following message:

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

    Theme installed successfully.

Warning: fopen(/home/content/22/6422122/html/bms/wp-content/themes/wp prado/style.css) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/22/6422122/html/bms/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4165

Warning: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/content/22/6422122/html/bms/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4168

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/content/22/6422122/html/bms/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4171

I could really use some assistance on what I need to do to fix this issue. I actually have a “Functions” file in the directory at go daddy but it still isn’t working.

    Thank you for your time.

  • The theme wp prado is it a folder with files like style.css and all other files like templates header.php and so on and images folder or do you have to open that folder with some other name for the theme.

The zip file opens up into a WP PRADO folder, which then opens up to a PRADO folder which then has all the things you listed. Would you be able to advise further knowing this?

I hate it when they do that. The automated theme installer wasn’t designed to handle two directory levels. You’ll have to access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and upload the prado folder (not the wp prado folder).

I appreciate all the help. I unzipped it, made one directory and then re zipped it. That worked as well. 🙂

    This has been solved.
