    Thanks for the report…

    That message is a PHP warning, which means it can’t be the cause of your backup failing – it’s also part of the code for displaying the admin page, not part of the backup code. So that’s just incidental.

    If manual backups work, but scheduled ones do not, then your WordPress scheduler is broken. That’s a problem external to UpdraftPlus. Try disabling all your other plugins, then try scheduled backups. Hopefully they will work. Re-enable them one by one to find the culprit.
