I’m using a new theme with wp-ecommerce/goldcart. Before I can submit the payment form I get this warning on the page. Warning: is_readable() [function.is-readable]: Unable to find the wrapper “https” – did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP?

I know my certificate set up is correct because I used it with another theme and shopping cart with Authorize.net. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Isn’t goldcart a paid version of wp-ecommerce?

Should there be something else I should check?

We do not support commercial products here. Try contacting the plugin’s vendor directly.

I know just seeing if anyone knew how to fix this warning that’s all. Difficult to get any support from them directly.

I was able to fix the issue. I had to recompile Apache and PHP with Open SSL module.
