Error: The requested resource could not be found.

    When submitting a form, I get “The requested resource could not be found” and the email does not get added to Mailchimp.

    With debugging enabled, error details are “Page: process_form_submission_ajax.php || Type: New Subscriber || Time: February 14, 2022 4:25 pm”.

    How can I fix this issue?

    Hi @rocketpig3,

    Have you recently made any changes to your mailchimp settings? That error only appears when something exists on your wordpress site but not in mailchimp. You can try clearing the API cache in your plugin settings.

    I changed the API key a few weeks ago to move to a different account. This was when the issue started. The “Clear Mailchimp API Cache” option is greyed out, I can’t click it.

    Hi @rocketpig3,

    That explains it. The data on your wordpress site no longer lines up with the mailchimp data in any way. You’ll need to delete the data in wordpress to avoid future errors. The quickest way to do that is to deactivate and delete the plugin, then reinstall it.
