Error submitting form

    Hello! The plugin Forminator doesn’t submit forms on PHP versions 8.0 and higher. Please help me solve this problem, as other plugins on the site no longer work on PHP 7.4.

    Hi @asisy972

    I hope you are doing well today.

    We have no similar reports in that matter and Forminator should work on PHP version 8.0 and higher ones.

    • Do you see any errors in your form when you try to submit it?
    • Are there any errors in the browser console?
    • Does your site use the SMTP plugin, and if so, are the settings correct?
    • Can you please check if an error is being logged? An Email log plugin like Email Log can help you with this -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-log/

    Please do note that in general, the Forminator plugin only initiates the action of sending the email, It is your WordPress site that will be sending the email.

    Having that in mind, WordPress uses the “wp_mail()” function, which in most cases simply uses the standard PHP “mail()” function. However, depending on hosting settings, sometimes you will need additional plugins like SMTP:
