Error sharing blog posts

    For quite some time now on several websites, especially this one https://doctoryvanpacheco.com/blog/ articles are not shared on google my business gives me the following error: There was an error: 400 INVALID_ARGUMENT Request contains an invalid argument.Table of Contents

    I share the information in the help tab, I’m trying it for the company dr yvan pacheco

    Can you please send me a link to a post which didn’t share properly, and also can you send a screenshot of the Google My Business plugin metabox on the post edit page of this post?

    Hi, this error happens when I want to share the post from the post itself. And it happens in all the posts

    Hi @beltza92,

    I think the issue might be the character: ¿ or maybe even: é and ó.

    Can you try sharing a post with typical English characters and see if that words?

    Also what do you have set as your site language?

    Hello,

    I have tried what you have told me and I still get the 404 error.
    My website is configured for English.
    Before I had no problem with the plugin I’ve been using it for several months and since maybe 3-4 months ago has stopped working but now that I have time I want to know the reason why it stops publishing automatically.

    The featured photos are webs, does that have something to do with it?

    I create a new post with a web image and a title in English with ó and it is published correctly.

    But previous post does not let me publish, I get the error 404

    Hi @beltza92,

    Ok so is it possible that the ¿ character might be problematic then? Like what is the difference between the one that was successful and the one that wasn’t? I can’t see both posts and share settings in front of me, so it’s hard for me to judge, but see if you can see what the difference might be. Maybe it is the ¿ character like I said. Thanks 🙂

    I explain.

    The only difference is that the article I can’t share has no content. The title has characters and a featured image in webp.
    The one I can’t share is an old article with content and characters.

    Now I want to try, a newly uploaded article with characters. Content, and photo.

    I have done several tests, with titles and characters, with titles and no characters, with photos and no photos. And I have come to the conclusion that error 400 occurs when I hit the button to publish the post on my blog and then share on gmb, that is, if I first share on gmb and then the post is correct. If I do it the other way round I get the error

    Mmm another thing to look into is that webp images are not supported by Google My Business. In the plugin FAQ we say:

    Images are not being shared to Google My Business?
    Google My Business has an unusual image requirements and we enforce these requirements in the plugin. If your image does not meet Google’s standards we will still share the post but it will just have no image. You need to make sure that the width AND height of the image is at least 250px AND the file size is greater then 10kb. Please ensure the file type of your image is standard like a jpg or png. If you are absolutely sure your image meets these requirements and it still is not being shared please raise a support request.

    Maybe this might be an issue?

    Please note, I can only provide recommendations in my support for the free plugin, however if you get the pro version, AutoSocial, I can provide more extensive support which includes diagnosing specific issues as to why an individual post may or may not have shared and some kind of solution to resolve the share.
