• Just updated woocommerce and two other plugins for my client. It did not go well.

    1. Dashboard update readout said Woocommerce failed beacause the old version could not be removed.

    2. Now site and dashboard are replaced a white page which says: Fatal error (yadda yadda) grid toggle plugin. –I go to the server via ftp and remove said plugin as it is not critical.

3 I think I fixed that problem because– Now site and dashboard page are replaced with a white page with the message: Please Install and Activate Woocommerce Plugin. – but I have no dashboard to work from.

Site is multisite. The other url on this wordpress install is working fine. http://kaikouschoolofbonsai.com/ (see?)
Theme is BLDR-Pro with a child theme.
Site and store have been working without a hitch for 4 months.
I am not a wordpress guru but have used it for a few years now. Primarily a designer, but I do manage this site for my client.

I have hit a wall and really need help here!

  • Suggest you go to plugins folder via ftp and rename the woocommerce folder. That’ll deactivate woocommerce without deleting it, and free up your wp-admin and allow you to analyze the problem.
