error on single-post page after removing comment coding

    I just worked soooo hard to remove the author and comment functions from my posts. Now, if I click on a post title to jump to the single-post page, I am seeing this at the bottom of each page:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENDIF in /home/ashliz/public_html/fashnfinds.com/wp-content/themes/bueno/comments.php on line 18

    Is there any way to fix this beyond deleting and re-installing my theme from scratch?

    You could just upload new copies of the files you made the edits to instead of uploading the theme again.

    It’s always good to make backups of files when working on them.
