Error on importing an XML file

    Hello,

    I have an issue with a theme XML file installation. When I import the XML file the following error appears: “Sorry, there has been an error. This does not appear to be a WXR file, missing/invalid WXR version number”

    My current version of WordPress is 4.1.1, but in the theme requirements the requested version is 3.8+, can be this an issue?

    Can someone help me?
