When someone submits a payment on my website, I’m getting the error: Nonce Security Check Failed!.

On my payment confirmation page it also reads:

    Invalid item price
You’re payment has successfully been made. See below for details.

This worked a few weeks ago, but suddenly stopped. Anyone seen this issue before? I’ve already disabled WP Super Cache in an attempt to get this working. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for reporting this. The plugin developers will investigate further.

    Kind regards

Are you using the same product name for multiple products in the same page? View your shortcodes and check the product name.

Also, let us know if you are using any caching solution.

Each time I add a new product to a page I get an “Error! Nonce Security Check Failed!” message when testing the new product by adding it to the shopping cart. This seems to affect all the products on that particular page only. (I have different types of products divided into a number of pages.) I use WP Super Cache and try the ’empty cache’ button each time, but it always seems to take a while before I am able to add the item to the cart. I am not good at the technical stuff and not sure if I have my cache settings set up properly. Thanks for any help.

Are you using different product name for each of your products? Each shortcode (for the different products should have a unique name).

Yes, I am using a different product name for each product. Some products may be “_________ No. 1” and “____________No. 2”, but I would think that still makes them different. The issue might be that I am testing them while I am still logged into WordPress and my dashboard. Would that make any difference? Thank you.

No, logging into wordpress shouldn’t cause this.

Please post a link to the page where you have the two products so I can inspect it.

This is the page where I had the most recent issue:
    https://aquiltingbee.co.uk/wall-hangings/
I added the Christmas Santa Wall/Door Hanging at the bottom of the page and when I tested the ‘add to cart’button I received the error notice for that item and other items on that same page as well as other pages. It took about a day for it to work properly. I have since removed the ‘add to cart’ button for the Christmas Santa because it has sold.

I have just changed the price on one of my items on this page:
    https://aquiltingbee.co.uk/table-centrepiece-wreaths/
and I tried testing it by clicking on ‘add to cart’ and I got the Nonce Security Check Failed error message for the changed item plus all other items on that page as well as some items on various other pages. This attempt was made while still logged into my dashboard. The same happened when not logged in.

It doesn’t look like you are using the Stripe payments plugin. This forum is for the Stripe payments plugin. To me it looks like you are using the following plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-simple-paypal-shopping-cart/

I went to your site and looks like you are using the super cache plugin. So you have a caching issue going on. The pages are cached for too long so the nonce values are stale. Please read the following documentation which will explain the issue and how you can fix it:

    https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-shopping-cart-and-wp-super-cache-workaround-334

I’m very sorry that I posted my query in the wrong forum. Yes, I am using the Simple Paypal Shopping Cart and the WP Super Cache. Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction. I hope my problem is fixed now.
