Seems there is an ongoing and unresolvable problem with Backwpup!
Its a shame because I thought it was an excellent plugin but months now of error messages and no response to questions about error messages means I have been forced to find another backup plugin.

I’m no expert with backwpup, I’m still trying to get it to install:))
But, the type of errors you have up there normally are due to:
1. Permission problems
2. File or directory does not exist.
I checked my unzipped file and there is no directory tinymce at all.
I don’t have a fix, but that is the problem:))

Thanks for responding. Tinymce is a plugin I am using.
I have decided to give up on backwpup as I have found an alternative that seems to work really well (for the moment anyway!).
Good luck getting it to instal.
What alternative are you switching to? I’ve also noticed that the errors with BackWPUp have been going on for quite a while now, and it may be time to look for a different option. Thanks in advance for sharing your suggestions!
I am interested in what you changed to also, bdsr. I might not be able to install, but I sure as heck can delete directories real good:))
Hello all, I know that many have had issues with this version of BackWPup for that reason I have also posted on my blog another alternative. However this might not be the one you are looking for but for some of my websites this plugin is working wonders. Here is the plugin UpdraftPlus Backup.
I sill use BackWPup on some sites because it works well.
