• Hello,

I receive the following error message while backing up to Google Drive in the UpdraftPlus plugin that I believe is a Postman issue. While googling, I see this has happened with other SMTP plugins as well – some issues relating to Google SDK? Any news on an update that would resolve this issue?

PHP event: code E_RECOVERABLE_ERROR: Argument 2 passed to Google_Http_MediaFileUpload::__construct() must be an instance of Psr\Http\Message\RequestInterface, instance of Google_Http_Request given, called in […]/wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/Postman/Postman-Mail/PostmanGmailApiModuleZendMailTransport.php on line 216 and defined (line 78, wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/Postman/Postman-Mail/google-api-client/vendor/google/apiclient/src/Google/Http/MediaFileUpload.php) (Sep 02 14:19:56)

    Thanks

  • Hi,

Did Updraft try to send you an email with an attachment?

Ah – I was unaware of this feature, but UpdraftPlus has a setting: “Check this box to have a basic report sent to your site’s admin address.” Fortunately, it is successfully backing up and the error message goes away when this is unchecked. Is there some configuration change I can make in Postman to allow this summary to get through? Or is it an Updraft issue?
