I’ve ben try to oEmbed an mp3 file from both Amazon S3 and my wp content directory, and every time a get a player with an error message saying that either the file path is wrong or the file is not a supported type. What am I doing wrong? I was using IE 10 to work on the back end of my site, and I have your plug in activated and installed and no other audio plugins.

  • I’m having the same problem. IE 10 shows a black box with a play button with the Error: Unsupported audio type or invalid file path. The file is mp3 and the file path is correct. I don’t have any problems in Firefox or Chrome. Anyone have any ideas? Any input would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

Just decided to try a different mp3 file and it works. Something must be wrong with the encoding of the original file I was trying to play? Maybe this will help you Shenwood.

Okay, you have problems with Internet Explorer 10, mp3 Files and you are using the oEmbed Integration or the shortcode? If you use the shortcode, please paste your code here and I will check that.
