You have not set up the plugin settings, you are still using Default mail(), while should switch to Gmail/Mailgun/SendGrid/SMTP. More details with helpful links here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

maybe the configurations are not saved at the bd? im changing all like the tutorial say.
