    Hi,

I tried to install this plugin to the test-version my website (see: beta.datajournalistiek.nl), which uses the genesis framework. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. I got the following error message:

“Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/p31455/domains/datajournalistiek.nl/public_html/beta/wp-content/plugins/link-roundups/vendor/mailchimp-api-php/src/Mailchimp.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/p31455/domains/datajournalistiek.nl/public_html/beta/wp-content/plugins/link-roundups/link-roundups.php on line 36”

Any idea what I’m doing wrong? Or is this problem caused by the plugin? Your help would be much appreciated – thank in advance!

    Best, Winny

Sharing is caring – my solution:

First I uploaded the plugin as stated in the readme files. Than things didn’t work, like they’re supposed to. Here’s what I did to fix it:

    1. Downloaded the mailchimp-api-php repository from here: https://bitbucket.org/mailchimp/mailchimp-api-php/downloads
    2. Unzipped the download, and looked for the ‘src’ directory
    3. Copy-pasted the ‘src’ directory to my WordPress installation – copied it to here to be exact: plugins/link-roundups/vendor/mailchimp-api-php
    4. Activated the plugin – no error message this time
    5. Best, Winny
