    I can’t help you with the WP auto plugin install details, but can say that using FTP to upload a plugin to your webserver is not very hard to do.

    Here is a WP tutorial on configuring FileZilla, an FTP client

    Also with most webhosts you can use the file manager in the control panel to upload the plugin from your computer to the WP plugin folder /wp-content/plugins/
