Error installing 5.1.5 version

    [06-Aug-2026 12:04:39 UTC] PHP Parse error:  syntax error, unexpected '|', expecting ';' or '{' in /www/wp-content/plugins/double-opt-in/core/CleanUp.class.php on line 85

    It doesn’t install on wordpress 7.0.2 with php 7.4
    Seems to be a php8 codebase but plugin page says it should work on php7.4
    What do you recommend ?
