Error in required structured data element

Hi team,

Since September 3, we’re seeing these warning messages on Google Search Console: “Error in required structured data element” and they don’t give many more details. Maybe this is some issue in the latest update?

When we check the AMP page details https://search.google.com/test/rich-results?utm_source=search_console&utm_campaign=sc-amp-test&id=yPqPYFNYKw1KFrW4mKOeXw
we can see two error messages:

Missing field “image”
Invalid URL in field “logo.url”

Do we need to do something on our end to fix this? Or this should be generated by the plugin automatically?

Have you supplied a Site Icon and/or Custom Logo via the Customizer in the Site Identity section?

Hi Weston,

There isn’t a logo in the Customizer > Site Identity. This is required to remove this warning?

That should work. If not share your Site Health information and we can check your current setup.

The site doesn’t have a logo. This is a required field?

For valid structured data yes, you should have a logo defined for your organisation.

The issue is still happening even after adding a logo – I filled the form with more information.

Thanks for sharing. From further inspections of your site I’m encountering the same structured data errors in your non AMP URLs.

Can you check your Rank Math plugin to ensure all structured data is valid?
