Error importing WordPress.com XML

I moved my blog from wordpress.com to self-hosted wordpress.org. I exported my content from wordpress.com before the transfer, and now when I try to import it onto my new site at wordpress.org, it won’t load. It’s saying there is no data.

Has anyone had this problem? It won’t load anything, not even my posts, which is worrying because I may have lost everything.
