error: Importing my blog .xml file

Hi,

I exported my blog to my hard disk using the export feature of wordpress (hosted on wordpress). It is saved as .xml file, now when i try to import this file using wordpress import feature( this wordpress is installed on my host and i installed wordpress using frantisco script), i got this message

Unable to create directory /home/nisheeth/public_html/nimbupani.us/blog1/wp-content/uploads/2008/07. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Then is there something has to be done by my host? please help

Initailly i tried importing a blog directly from blogspost and error message was “Unable to find the socket transport “ssl” – did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP? (0)”
