Error Establishing Connection

Good Morning,
I was successfully connected, via MAMP, to wordpress the entire weekend. Logged off, turned off computer last night. Started everything up this morning and now I receive “error establishing connection”. I have verified that my localhost is 8888. Switched it over to 8889. Back to 8888. Went through wp-config.php. matched everything accordingly. Still cannot get in. Even went through terminal and did a killall mysql and restarted MAMP hoping it would log on.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
