Error establishing a database?!?!

    I just received the following message;
    Error establishing a database connection! This probably means that the connection information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect. Double check it and try again.
    * Are you sure you have the correct user/password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?
    – The URL was perfectly fine as of 1:30 am early this morning, now I’m receiving this message and I didn’t change anything….
    HELP Please?!

    Check to see if your MySQL server is down.

    i’ve just tried to login (9:30) this morning and got the same damn message, Anyone know what gives?

    check a similar earlier thread with almost the same title.
    Basically the problem is that bloghosts is having issues.

    Thanks David. I’ve just ticketed Bloghosts — let’s hope they get on it fast.

    Bloghosts seems to have resolved the issue, my blog is back up and running! I ticketed it about 30 minutes ago, so good luck.

    It seems this was the problem (for thsoe still waiting)
    “An absuive script caused MySQL to crash this morning. We are rebooting the server but all should be well shortly.”

    Thanks, just had the heads-up from Jace myself. Good to know they are on the ball. I’m impressed with how quick they resolved the problem.
    Hope everyone else is back up and running too.
