    What does this mean?
Warning: save contact forms translation in Polylang settings

It links to the polylang settings page where there is no facility to save contact forms translations…

Any help appreciated preventing this erroneous error message from displaying!
    Thanks in advance,
    OC

Thanks I just did and fixed it.

But You need to fix the erroneous error message with a misdirected link to the Polylang languages page (there are no tabs apparently?)

    wrong link
    wp-admin/options-general.php?page=mlang&tab=settings

    correct link
    wp-admin/admin.php?page=mlang_settings

yes, apologies for that, the tabs were part of a previous Polylang version. I shall update the documentation/link in the next release. Given that it is not a major bug that prevents the plugin from working, I haven’t updated it yet as I am too busy on other projects.

Hope you find the plugin useful from here onwards!

Yea I came back to this thread to again discover how to remove the nag on a different polylang/contact form 7 implementation ;D

This was fixed in the latest release of this plugin, v1.4.5.

I also improved the readme notes and added an additional screenshot to illustrate this part of the setup.

    Hi,
I just installed Contact Form 7 Version 5.0, Polylang Version 2.3 and Contact Form 7 Polylang extension, Version 1.4.7. And in all administration pages I get the

Warning: save contact forms translation in Polylang settings

But in fact the Contact Forms option is selected by default in the Custom post types and Taxonomies -> Custom post types and I cannot even deselect it. I deactivated, deleted and installed the plugin again and the same thing happens all the time.

When I create a new contact form I am able to select the language but when I tried to associate a translation, just like in Polylang, it seems to work but then when I click save it just creates a new form in the new language and does not associated to initial one. I followed the video at the https://wordpress.org/plugins/cf7-polylang/ and tried to reproduce exactly the same steps but without success.
Any idea of what may be wrong?
Thank you very much in advance for any help.

yes, polylang v2.3 has now a more robust way for custom post to register for translation which wasn’t workign very well in previous verisons and required me to put this msg to ensure users manually checked the box. so I need to remove this validation now.

Can you please start a new thread for issues that are not related to this thread. It makes it easier to manage the support forrum and for others to find similar issue and solutions.

So again, polylang v2.3 has changed things rounds and I need to update the plugin. Please see this thread for a work around..
