Error Connecting to DB when high usage?

    Hello,

    We run a very popular online shop, and have over 1 million fans on facebook and 1 million fans on twitter.

    When we post on twitter/facebook a link to our site, the site soon starts to return the “error establishing database connection”

    what can we do to prevent this?
