    Hi

    I recently moved one of my websites to a new domain by using Updraft Plus.
    Before moving, everything worked fine.

    Unfortunately, I am not able to back up the Uploads anymore.
    It is always causing an Error and stops the process of saving the files to FTP.
    All the other parts (plugins, themes, DB…) do work.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    Please could you send us a copy of the latest backup log? This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.

    The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin, and post the link here.

    I only changed the domain and the name of our foundation for security reasons.

    Hi,

    The error is not shown in the backup log, but the backup does appear to be cut off part way through the upload.

    Is there any error code or message that you receive when the backup fails?

    Hi,

    I am only receiving an email when it was a successful backup.
    Otherwise, it just keeps trying to finish it.

    I realized that the problem is only the folder uploads.

    There is no error code.

    I did several things such as:
    Updated to the newest version.
    Changed the folder on the FTP Server.
    Checked the FTP connection.

    Everything seems ok.

    Hi,

    Please could you reduce the backup archive split down to 50MB? This can be done through the ‘expert settings’ section of the Settings tab.

    Hi,

    It worked. The plugin was able to back up the “upload” folder.
    What is the reason behind this? It did work before with 400MB.

    Hi,

    I’m afraid that this depends on any changes to the server. I would recommend asking your hosts if there has been any changes on the server. Also, has there been an increase in the number of uploaded files?
