Error attempting to activate Jetpack

    I’m getting an error when trying to activate JetPack:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Jetpack in /home/content/44/7691144/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php on line 25

    I tried uninstalling/re-installing JetPack, but I got the same error when attempting to activate it again. Any suggestions as to how this might be fixed? Thanks!

    I’m having the same problem. Ever get this resolved?

    Oh, I fixed it. I had the JP Custom CSS and the JP Widget Visibility plug-ins enabled. Just disable these first (or any other JP plug-ins). Apparently their functionality is included in the Jetpack plug-in.

    Yup, just came here to tell you that but looks like you found it 🙂 I had an issue actually editing the CSS (it’s not actually available from appearance -> Edit CSS), but I don’t really need JetPack and am just going to stay with JP Custom CSS widget. Thanks,
