    Hi,
I had my WP moved to a bigger server yesterday. Now WP-Piwik is rejecting connection, giving the following error:
SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate

This is wrong though, as I use a Let’s Encrypt certificate on this site. The DNS finished propagating more than 12 hours ago, so that all other parts od the WP instance are working as they should. Do I need a new Auth-Token or how do I get WP-Piwik to connect again?

Strange thing is, sometimes, after a few refreshs it works for a few. If I refresh again, all data is gone again.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Maybe your new WP server does not have the Let’s Encrypt root certificates installed? (They are quite new…)

Have a look on how to enable certificates and refresh the certificates list:

Here you can get the Let’s Encrypt root certs which may be missing:
    https://letsencrypt.org/certificates/

Otherwise, you can also disable the SSL verification (WP-Piwik expert settings), but of course it would be a better solution to get the certs working as expected again. 😉

Thanks for your quick response. The root-certs were ok, because there was a Let’s Encrypt cert there already before moving to the new server. After reading through your links, WP-Piwik seemed to have healed itself. So it seems that the DNS needed longer to propagate to Piwik!?. Anyways, all seems good now. Thanks for your work.
