Is your wordpress up to date? If it is, then your theme is outdated and is causing the problem. or it’s one of your plugins that is outdated. But anyhow, this is how you can solve it:
You enter you your control panel in your hosting service provider. It’s where you have registered you domain and you should have the link to your cpanel along with your username and pass in the confirmation email they sent you when you registered your domain. When you’re in your Cpanel, search for “file manager” and open it. If it prompt you to choose what you want to have access to, you should choose to open the “rootfiles”. In the rootfiles, you should be able to remove the theme you have installed or the plugins simply by deleting their folders. You should then gain access to your website and your control panel right after updating and saving the rootfiles.

do you have access to your files via FTP or webhost cpanel to be able to delete the theme?
No, my friend has hosted this website using HostGator, I don’t have a clue about the cpanel.
Then contact your friend, he should have got an email with a link to your CPanel. I am also using HostGator, they send you the mail right after your domain is registered. After entering CPanel you just go to file manager, root files, and delete your theme. If you cannot contact your friend or you have not kept the mail, then you should contact HostGator technical support.
Oh, thanks Reilly! I’ll try my best!
