Support » Plugin: WP Super Cache » Error 520

  • Hello,

I initially posted this under the Autoptimize page but after discussing I think the topic may be of your interest, and it would be fantastic if you guys could help me out with this one:

Hello everyone, it is my first time posting so I hope I am in the right section and I am asking the right questions.

Since this morning i have been experiencing an Error 520 on my website and this is what the log says:

[09-Jun-2019 09:27:28 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: inlined_ccss_block in /web/htdocs/www.aliceceramica.com/home/wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/classes/autoptimizeStyles.php on line 885

I am not too experienced and tried both to deactivate Autoptimize (which I assume is causing this issue) and restoring the whole Autoptimize folder from a weekly backup.

Would you know how to get out of this situation?

    Thank you

And this the last error I got after removing define('WP_CACHE', true); from the wp-config:

[09-Jun-2019 11:32:10 UTC] PHP Warning: strpos(): Empty needle in /web/htdocs/www.aliceceramica.com/home/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 658

Since that error I had no other error recorded in my log. Now everything is clean but I still get the 520 error. Odd!

    Thank you for your help!

I would say you should delete both plugins and install them again one by one and make sure your site works after installing each.

Removing the WP_CACHE line won’t trigger that PHP warning about plugin.php so there might be something broken on your site.

Since your site doesn’t load, you’ll have to ftp to it or ask your host to delete those plugins.
