error 404

i downloaded the 2.7 zip file

i unzipped it on my machine and uploaded it to my www directory.

cudnt get the install.php to open…. just got the error 404 saying file not found

then i tried uploading the zip onto the www directory and unzipping it

but still in vain.

wt to do? plz help
