I’ve just started seeing the problem as well and the only recent change was updating to 4.0. As a temporary workaround, I added the URL from https://developer.linkedin.com/documents/share-linkedin as a custom share button.
I think I am seeing the same issue. The LinkedIn sharing button was working up until a couple of days ago. Now, I get a “this webpage has a redirect loop” message. All of my my other shared social services (G+, FB, Twitter, etc.) handle it without issue.
The only difference in my case, is that I have not yet installed WP 4.0.
…strange.
Have not updated to 4.0 either and have had the same exact issues so I do not think it is 4.0 – I think it is an error at LinkedIn somehow. Have had issues over the past week with this.

Then maybe something changed in LinkedIn that is affecting the correct operation of Jetpack’s sharing button. I assume this could be solved with a plugin update?
Is there a way to edit the plugin by ourselves to correct the issue?
Thanks all for the reports. That’s indeed a known issue in the latest version of Jetpack. We fixed the problem in the development version of the plugin, and the fix will be included in the next update.
If you feel comfortable editing PHP files, you can make the change to your own installation of Jetpack by making the change mentioned here:

Just made the prescribed change, and the issue is resolved…thanks Jeremy!
I just updated Jet Pack and the Linked IN Sharing no longer works. Refreshed, tried to reconnect…keep getting error messages…Linked IN error message reads: The partner did did not properly implement the authentication protocol.

Thanks….what to do?
