    Hi, I’m going to be selling an ebook through Woocommerce. I have been doing some testing with a few people and I’m finding that many people can download a pdf copy but not a epub copy, so it wouldn’t make sense to have the epub available for download, right?

    I tested downloading an EPUB file on my end, and I wasn’t able to replicate the issue. To help us better understand what’s happening, could you please provide a bit more information?

    • What exactly are your customers experiencing when they try to download the EPUB file? For example, do they receive an error message, does the download fail to start, or does the file download but fail to open?
    • Could you please go to WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Downloadable products and let us know which File download method is currently selected (Force Downloads, X-Accel-Redirect/X-Sendfile, or Redirect only)?

    Additionally, could you please share the following:

    • Your WooCommerce System Status Report (WooCommerce → Status → Get system report)
    • Any relevant fatal error logs (WooCommerce → Status → Logs, or your server’s PHP error logs if available)

    You can share these using Pastebin and enable the Burn after Read option before posting the link here, so the information remains private.

    Once we have this information, we’ll be happy to investigate further.
