I have players with name like: Galvão, Montaño and they are displaying as Galv?o, Monta?o.
Can you look in to these to support this encoding characters from Portuguese/Spanish latin aplhabet?

Can’t help in resolving but this may help in targeting the cause. I have Spanish and Portuguese event venue names and addresses on mine and they display correctly.

@mctraxx this might be related to the fonts used in your theme. Could you post a link to your site so we can have a look?

@mctraxx ah, the fonts in the current version of the Rookie are only loading for basic Latin character sets. We’ll be making the following code changes to load extended characters to support Spanish, Portuguese, and other languages: https://github.com/ThemeBoy/Rookie/commit/ba4e720138b82e07f597c1ad05cd79d524a96528
