Enabling comments with replies on homepage

    Hi there,

    I have set up a template for my homepage and I am having some trouble getting comments and replies to show.

    This is what I have done:

    – Comments enabled in Settings > Discussion
    – Enabled comments on the page in admin
    – On my template file I have included comments.php which shows the form.
    – Installed the “Show All Comments” plugin.

    I can see the comments on the page as well as the form but I have some issues

    – The user can post a comment, but they are not redirected/scrolled down the page to view their comment once they have posted it.
    – There is no name or email field
    – There is no option to reply to a comment

    Have I done this all wrong?

    I found the solution which was that I needed to add this:

    <?php comments_template(‘/comments.php’); ?>
