Hello, I am very frustrated. I’m just trying allow my readers to comment on my blog posts. In the dashboard, I clicked on Settings, then Discussions. The I went to Default article settings and clicked on Allow people to post comments on new articles. Then I clicked on Save Changes. Nothing seemed to happen. I hate technology! Aargh. Please help, someone. I know this is basic, basic stuff but I just can’t get it to work. This ALWAYS happens to me when I try to follow directions for using software.
A number of things can cause this. For instance your theme might not have a comments template, you might have accidentally disabled comments on each post individually or a plugin might be doing this.
